Co-working General Manager - London

Looking for an experienced General Manager for a brand new, high end, Co-working provider in London.

Building Management

1. Security of the building

  • Make sure systems are in place to keep the building secure from intruders and safe for anyone using it
  • Update and monitor systems to make sure only authorised people have access to the right areas at the right times
  • Regularly review security systems such as intruder alarm, access controls, cctv cameras & entrances and exits.

2. Health & Safety of the building

  • Complying with all H&S
  • Complying with all fire safety
  • Complying with all Hygiene recommendations and laws

3. Communicate with development team, landlord and contractors

4. First point of contact for all contractors 24/7

Residents relations

1. Manage the onboarding of each new company / resident

  • Set up on systems
  • Handle special requests
  • Manage induction
  • Follow up after onboarding and maintain relationship

 2. Everyday satisfaction of the residents

 3. Build the community

  • Actively work towards connecting residents within the space
  • Assist with events

4. Manage the off-boarding process

  • Terminate price plans on Nexudus and de – activate user (from the date when their price plans end)
  • Book in an exit interview/chat
  • Inspect their office space / desk
  • Inform finance on returning advance fee / deposit

The space

1. Manage the upkeeping of kitchens, showers, wellbeing studio and all other communal spaces making sure its kept at a high standard

  • Manage & support the contracted cleaners and the housekeeping team
  • Actively think of new offerings that can improve the residents experience

Services

1. Set up and manage agreements to have services in place

  • Post and package pickup
  • Franking service
  • Courier company partnership
  • Local dry cleaner partnershiP

Staff management & team relations

1. Team support

  • Weekly meetings

2. Staff training

3. Create & update job descriptions & task lists for each position

4. Recruitment process

Finance

1. Follow all budgets & oversee all operational spending

  •  Monthly check and sign off

2. Manage monthly resident’s invoices

  • Original financial set up for each new company
  • Create original invoice
  • Weekly review invoices
  • Send reminders
  • Send monthly invoices

Working Hours: Monday to Friday day shifts with flexibility to work one later evening shift. Only one Saturday day shift per month. 

Salary: £30,000 basic plus a bonus
