Kampus
Kampus is the highest profile Build to Rent Development to be launching into the Manchester market. It is comprised of a unique mix of period and new build assets together comprising an island site within 2 minutes of Piccadilly Station of 534 units build around a garden square overlooking the Rochdale Canal. The scheme is due to be launched Q1 2021.
The developer of the site is a joint venture between Henry Boot and Capital & Centric, funded by Ares Management LLP. Exceptional design quality lies at the heart of the DNA of the developers which is evident throughout in the quality of the design of the scheme. It is set to lead the Manchester market in terms of design quality and amenity. Without question, it will be the premier Build to rent asset in the North of England making this role critically important and very high profile.
Summary of Position:
The Community Manager role is the day to day lead role for building & maintaining the reputation of Kampus in the local community, supporting the revenue drive as hard as possible to achieve in excess of annual revenue targets of £10m (excluding commercial incomes), managing the costs within the limits of the budget and all whilst achieving the highest possible resident approval ratings for service, responsiveness, community spirit and cleanliness, maintaining the quality of the asset to the highest standards and complying with all Health & Safety legislation to ensure the safety of residents and staff at all times.
We’re looking for a highly driven individual – you will relish the opportunity to manage one of, if not the finest quality residential asset in the Manchester market and to be at the forefront of the rapidly expanding UK Build to Rent sector. You’ll be working directly alongside and reporting into the Director of Build to Rent and the senior management at Native.
You will have a proven appreciation of what it takes to deliver outstanding customer service, perhaps having worked to a senior level in the hospitality or BtR/PBSA industry, with the energy and interpersonal skills needed to create a thriving residential community by building relationships and hosting community events. You’ll have a keen eye for detail, always maintaining the asset to the highest quality and will have proven leadership skills, with a proven track record of leading a highly motivated team with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
You will be supported by an experienced Head Office team providing support with Systems, Technology, Leasing Strategies, Marketing, Operational Management and Health & Safety.
The role requires you to actively work with external third party marketing agencies, commercial operators and agencies, and shareholders

Physical Requirements:
This is a position which requires the Community Manager to frequently walk, stand, and climb stairs in/around apartment homes, models, and apartment community. Must also have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary. Rare or regular travel may be required to assist other apartment communities as needed, attend training classes, business meetings, or other situations necessary for the accomplishment of some or all of the daily responsibilities of this position. Associates must be able to work inside and outside in all weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, hail, wind, sleet).

Associates must be able to work a flexible schedule, which includes shifts during evenings, weekends and holidays.
